My stepdaughter first built this site in 2000.  Finally I am taking time to update it. Life is so busy and time passes so fast that sometimes the things I SAY are the most important to me, slip right by my fingers.  I am hoping to make some changes in that this year.

I have so many great friends.  Sadly, many friends I used to have I no longer see.  I do believe though that sometimes people come into our life for a season. Some people stay in our lives always. I try not to be sad about this but just be thankful for what I have learned and for the blessings friends have given me over the years.  I have a group of friends called the "Coffee Club." We meet weekly for fun and fellowship.  As I tell others, we pray together, eat together, do projects together and support each other.  We have been together for a long time.  I started a website for us in Dec 2001 but I know we were together long before that. I will have to look up that date.

I have tried many hobbies over the years.  Now I have settlied into my niche and do not vary much.  I still love painting.  I have recently taken on crochet again.  I love reading, writing, canning, and beadwork.  I recntly took up fused glass and made a new dear friend. I also love working with herbs.  After going through my herbal certifcation course at the Herb Corner, I have had a great time learning about and creating herbal recipes! One thing is for sure, I love learning and exploring.  I drive my friends crazy.  As Marianne said, "you wear me out.!"

Marty and I have been married fifteen years. My daughter  (Megan) and my stepdaughter, Katie are both twenty five.  My stepson Josh is twenty two.  Megan has been married two years, Katie had a bbay last week, aand Josh has moved in with his girlfriends Stefanie.!
